Madison (left) began her SCGA Junior story as a Golf Pass member before getting more involved as a volunteer and mentor to younger girls. She is a member of Girls Golf of Southeast LA and has been chosen for several special events because of her dedication, character and continued involvement. How long have you been with SCGA Junior?
I have been with SCGA Junior for about three years.
What is your favorite course and why?
My favorite course is Goose Creek GC in Jurupa Valley because I know a lot of people there and it is very beautiful.
What is your favorite part about playing golf and why?
I really like meeting new people and playing beautiful courses.
Best SCGA Junior memory?
I really enjoy volunteering on Fridays to teach the younger kids golf and do fun activities but one of my best memories was getting Lexi Thompson’s signature and one of her shoes.
Why do you like coming to SCGA Junior events?
SCGA Junior events allow me to meet a lot of new people.
Any other hidden talents?
I love to draw and my parents say that I am really good at it.
Favorites:
Food: I love pasta and eat it every chance I get!
Movie: My favorite movie is probably The Notebook but I really like any type of horror movie.
Hobbies: I really enjoy amusement parks, going to the beach and just hanging out with my friends.
Sports team: I like to watch the Fullerton Titans girls softball team play. One of my favorite sports other than golf is softball. I played travel softball for three years and I really miss it.
Golfer or athlete? My favorite golfer is Lexi Thompson and my favorite softball player is Jennie Finch.
