SCGA Junior provides financial support for higher education to active program members!

The SCGA Junior Scholarship Program is designed to help youth continue their education in college or vocational school. In 2017, $160,000 will be distributed to 43 students for tuition, room and board, and educational supplies.

The Scholars: Over the past eight years, SCGA Junior has awarded $917,000 to 96 college students. This year’s class of 43 students encompasses individuals who are role models in their community, hard workers at school and who have grown in character through their experiences with golf. They are all members of Southern California junior golf programs, and we congratulate them on their educational collegiate journey.

Program Requirements: All applicants, who must be active SCGA Junior Golf Club members for at least two years, are required to submit an application, college budget, resume, and personal statement, along with two reference letters from community service or academic professionals. There is a minimum requirement of a 2.5 GPA and students must maintain full-time academic status.

The application for the 2018-2019 school year will be available in December and the deadline to apply is March 1, 2018. High school seniors who meet the above requirements are eligible to apply.  Please contact Jennifer Seislove at if you have any questions.
