We’re deeply grateful to Deloitte for not only opening their doors but also opening up valuable learning opportunities for more than 30 of our junior golfers and scholars. From the moment the day kicked off, our juniors were immersed in experiences designed to challenge and inspire. The morning began with a behind-the-scenes tour of Deloitte’s Los Angeles office, offering a first-hand look at what a future in a professional workplace could look like.
During the Power Skills workshops, Deloitte professionals shared practical tools—like how to write a must-read resume—and helped juniors understand their unique Business Chemistry profiles. These sessions weren’t just educational—they were empowering, helping our students see how their strengths and interests can shape a path toward college and career success.
We’re especially thankful to Jason Girzadas, Terry Feit and Jordan Wiggins for taking the time to speak directly to our group. Their words of encouragement, advice and personal stories left a lasting impression on the juniors in the room.
For many juniors, this was a rare opportunity to connect classroom knowledge, leadership experiences from golf and future career aspirations in one setting. The experience helped students think more deeply about their goals—and gave them a clearer picture of what’s possible.
Impact Day continues to be a valuable part of the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation’s broader post-secondary career readiness programming, offering a bridge between our work on the course and the next steps in our participants’ academic and professional journeys.
Together, we’re helping the next generation of leaders get one step closer to their goals. Here’s to building even more bridges between the fairway and the future. We can’t wait for Impact Day next year!
