Lexie is currently a junior at the University of Arizona through their online program, majoring in Psychology and with a minor in Adolescents, Community and Education. Alongside her coursework, she is a part-time youth coach for SCGA Junior at Fairmount Golf Course in Riverside, CA. Lexie is also a leadership volunteer with Milvet, a local non-profit providing resources to active-duty military, veterans and their families. Lexie has a passion for working with kids and aspires to be a future educator.

We are proud to announce that “The Rodriguez Family” video produced by thescga, SCGA Junior Golf Foundation and secondcollective secured the top spot in the Best Internet Content Video category at the AGA’s most prestigious awards program, the International Network’s of Golf’s awards (intlnetofgolf). Andrew Rodriguez started his golf journey with us at six, enrolling in our Player & Youth Development program in Norwalk (now donknabegc). Our first Gold Tour powered by lionsgate took place at Hansen Dam Golf Course in Pacoima on Sunday, January 21. 30 juniors came out and competed despite the gloomy weather. Congratulations to all the finalists! Next stop: El Dorado GC in Long Beach on Sunday, February 25.
Coach Chris and Coach Kendel had an incredible experience teaming up with projectblue in Southwest Los Angeles! Our collaboration brought indoor golf to 20+ kids, featuring fitness, putting and chipping with our snaggolf.official
Kicked off 2024 with a bang at Arcadia Municipal Golf Course! Our first Silver Tour event was a huge success on Saturday, January 13th, with the largest turnout yet with 50 enthusiastic juniors. Big shoutout to our incredible volunteers who served as walking scorers. Congratulations to all the participants!
Meet Coach Kendel! A proud Howard University graduate and former Women’s Golf team member, she’s a valuable part of our Southwest LA and Southeast LA communities. Catch her in action, teaching programming and leading LPGA*USGA Girls Golf monthly meetings! During college, Kendel shared her golf expertise as an assistant at CitySwing in Washington DC, guiding guests on rules and techniques. Her journey includes a marketing internship with Callaway Golf and volunteering with The First Tee in Baltimore, Md. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Coach Kendel on our team!
