What is your name? Patrick Wolfe

What is your city of residence? Newport beach

What is your profession: I work in Asset Management as a Managing Director and a Senior Portfolio Manager in Private Credit. I invest into business through credit instruments.

How long have you been involved with the SCGA Junior Foundation? 6 years

Do you have a golf club affiliation? Newport Beach Country Club

If you couldn’t do what you would be doing now as a profession, you would be a? Golf pro… just kidding. My family have been farmers for 80+ years in central California. I’d likely go back to working on the farm.

What does supporting junior golfers mean to you? Supporting junior golfers means a lot to me. Golf has opened up many doors in business and in life. To be able to give more junior golfers that ability is one of my largest passions.

A Golfer’s Journey:

How long have you been golfing for? Who introduced you to the game of golf? I have been golfing for my entire life. My father introduced me to the game and has worked in the golf industry for 50+ years.

What is your favorite club in your bag and why? Sand wedge. A good short game is the quickest way to become a good golfer.

You have a free round at any golf course in the world, which are you choosing? Augusta National

Dream foursome? Who’s in it and why? My dad, Fred Couples, Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan

What would you tell juniors to interest them in the game of golf? Just have fun, don’t worry about your score and handicap. That will get better in time.

What is something you wish more people knew about you? I grew up in a farm in central California.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Try to be the best at whatever makes you happy then success will follow.
