Scholarships

The SCGA Junior Scholarship Program is designed to help youth continue their post-secondary education.

Over the past decade, SCGA Junior has awarded more than $1.9 million in scholarships.

This year’s class encompasses individuals who are role models in their community, hard workers at school and who have grown in character through their experiences with golf. They are all members of Southern California junior golf programs, and we congratulate them on their educational journey.

What It Means To Be An SCGA Junior:

An SCGA Junior participant is an active, engaged and community-minded young person who uses golf as a platform to learn, grow and give back — embodying the values of the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation both on and beyond the course.

While eligibility requires at least two of SCGA Junior participation, true involvement reflects contribution and commitment to our community on an ongoing basis, not just attendance. A successful applicant embodies what it means to be an SCGA Junior and has been actively involved on an ongoing basis.

Program Requirements:

All applicants, who must be current High School Seniors, and active SCGA Junior members for at least two years, are required to submit:

  • Application
  • Secondary Education Budget Worksheet
  • Resume
  • Two reference letters from community service or academic professionals.

There is a minimum requirement of a 2.5 GPA and students must maintain full-time academic status.
