Community On and Beyond the Course
The Future of GolfThe SCGA Junior Golf Foundation operates all SCGA Junior programming allowing all youth in Southern California affordable access to play and grow in the game.
About Us
The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation inspires kids by creating a fun, engaged community that develops character through mentorship and empowerment. We create local golf communities that provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment for youth to have fun, explore their future and develop the necessary skills to achieve their goals.
What We Do
Our Programs
Golf Club
The SCGA Junior Golf Club includes the Golf Pass, which allows junior golfers to access $1-$5 green and range fees at more than 150 SoCal courses. The Golf Club also includes Club Outings and access to the Scholarship program.
Player & Youth Development
The PYD program combines high-impact golf and positive youth development curriculums to give a junior access to everything they need to succeed in the game including: group classes, one-on-one lessons, equipment, casual and competitive on-course play, uniforms and more!
Girls Golf
Through LPGA*USGA Girls Golf chapters, girls are exposed to role models and peers who help them feel comfortable on the course and inspire them off of it. Regular programming and special events combine golf with social or educational activities.
Scholarship
SCGA Junior participants are eligible for scholarships, which allow them to pursue their dreams of higher education regardless of whether they are playing golf at the next level. Foundation Scholars are engaged members of the community and frequently mentor younger juniors.

What We Are Up To
Our junior golfers are artists too! To celebrate the @uswomensopen coming to The Riviera Country Club in our own backyard this week, we are so excited to spotlight the Southern California juniors whose original designs will be featured on posters throughout the Championship grounds. π¨β³
Check out art from Violet M., Indie-Reign D., Coco T. & Kai T.!
Another stellar College Golf Summit in the booksπ π
A huge thank you to our expert panelists of college coaches and student-athletes, as well as performance experts Ted Gleason and Rick Sessinghaus, for inspiring our SCGA Junior families and shining a light on the endless possibilities for young golfers and their academic futures.
A special thanks to our pals at @uswomensopen and @usga for making SCGA Junior Girls Golf at Woodley Lakes GC a stop on the U.S. Women's Open Trophy Tour!
Not only are the juniors super excited for the Championship, but exposure like this helps our girls visualize accomplishing their golf dreams.
