Meet Our Instructors

Coach Alexis joins SCGA Junior with significant golf and coaching experience. After picking up the game at age 12, Alexis went on to become a varsity letter-winner all four years at South Hills High School. She previously volunteered with the Latina Golfers Association, helping conduct junior clinics and camps.

“I like coaching junior golf because I’m helping the next generation learn to love golf like I do,” Coach Alexis says. “The most rewarding thing about coaching is seeing the faces on my kids light up when they hit the ball correctly.”

Alexis is currently in her freshman year at Cal Poly Pomona studying to become a civil engineer. Outside of golf, Alexis enjoys spending time with her sisters, throwing pottery, reading and painting. Her dream foursome is Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Lexi Thompson.
